After several weeks of examining how we are set apart in specific areas, today we see in scripture how we are to be set apart in relation to ALL people.  

Hope for the Scattered: Marriage Matters; 1 Peter 3:1-7 (6/7/2020)

We are continuing our "Hope for the Scattered"series today by looking at 1 Peter 3:1-7.  In this passage, Peter is letting us know that we should look at marriage differently than the rest of the world.  We are SET APART, and our marriages should reflect that!

What Have We Learned? 5/31/2020

Today, we look back over the past few months and ask, "What have we learned?"

Hope for the Scattered: Set Apart; 1 Peter 2:11-25

You were not created to blend in. You were created to be set apart! Peter shows us that we can populate heaven by being good citizens, doing good, and using our freedom to be servants of God. Oh yeah, and suffering is normal. But don’t worry! We serve a God who empathizes with us, so we never suffer alone.

 

Hope for the Scattered: God is building something...

God is indeed building something special, and He is doing through His people.  Just like the exiles in 1 Peter, we need to know who we are and what God is doing through us.

Hope for the Scattered: Be Prepared; 1 Peter 1:13-25

We are in Week 2 of our walk through 1 Peter.  This week we look at Peter's message of "Be Prepared."  

Hope For the Scattered: Be Encouraged

This week, we are kicking off a new series in 1 Peter called, "Hope for the Scattered."  Peter starts his letter with a word of encouragement.  This encouragement applies not only to the scattered believers Peter was addressing, but it applies to all believers in all places and at all times; EVEN US!  Join us, and Be Encouraged!

Great Opportunity; Acts 4:1-22

Psalm 23; Confidence and Peace with God

In the past month, we have felt the Chaos, Fear, and Uncertainty.  Today, we are looking to Psalm 23 to build our Confidence and Peace with God.

Easter 2020; What Does the Resurrection Mean to Me?

Today, we celebrate a Risen Savior!  Not only did Jesus conquer sin on the cross, but He defeated death and rose victoriously.  This is worthy of BIG celebration.  We will simply ask, "What does the resurrection me to me?"
